Armando Lopez is a young man with a passion for teaching and preaching from the Word of God. At the age of 18 he fully gave his heart to the Lord and studied for two years at Southern Adventist University but did not finish upon feeling a call to do a shorter type of training that would prepare him for the oversees mission field. He took a medical missionary training course from Las Delicias a mission school in South America. During this time he developed a passion for preaching and educating young people.
After serving for a few years in Colombia he came back to the United States to join the team at Hartland Institute in 2011. Since 2014 he has been teaching in the religion department of Hartland College. In addition to teaching he is also the lay pastor of the Amicus Seventh-day Adventist church where he continues to develop his gifts and talents in the Lord’s service.
