Year  End of 2020

First of all, I’d like to tell you that from the beginning time when Quo Vadis opened its ministry – to the present –  every good that can be found in this ministry is the result of the faithfulness and graciousness of God!

As I write this brief word, I think back to the first November 2018 when our broadcast started with so many hick ups and blur outs, some of you may remember we had in the first few months lots of satellite problems. We do not know why these trials happened but if this was not for the grace of our Lord we almost gave up because of the many setbacks we experienced. As time passed, the problems have been ironed out because God encouraged us everyday to continue.

The purpose of Quo Vadis was from the very beginning to give glory to God. While we broadcast our selected materials, we pray that many will come to the true knowledge of Christ Jesus.

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters covers the sea”
Hab 2:14
How do we advance the Gospel in times like these? We all must individually pray that a way will be open for the saving message of the good news to go out, through any means possible. It has been our great longing and purpose to communicate to the world a picture of our loving God. There are over 3 billion people who are currently out of reach of the Bible truth who never heard of a  good, just and holy God. How can we not be moved, not only to tears but also to action?

No one imagined that 2020 would bring so much grief to all of us. Lockdowns, severe restrictions, we all are just unsure of the future. Many still face real hardship, some great sorrow over loses of lives, loses of business and separation from loved ones, churches are closed. But we must remember that we fight not for the temporary freedom, but for the eternal salvation of souls.  All of us must be engaged. Our mission are our loved ones, our neighbours, our personal contacts whom we work with or do business with, people whom we meet.  Let us pray for wisdom how we can communicate to others and how to talk about the Lord’s kingdom, Him being alive today, His pure ways, His righteousness and most important His fight that He won on the cross of Calvary.

Keep the work of a mission always in mind wherever you are.  No matter what happens to us, we have excellent hope. We know that the final outcome will be victorious.  Here is a promise –

“After these things I looked and behold a great multitude which no one could number, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands: and they cry out with a loud voice, saying ; Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
Rev 7: 9-10

May this hope fill you with joy as you enter the unchartered waters in the New Year 2021.

Best wishes.
Wenzel
